Making Positive "Changes"
Stammering Awareness.

This page is a space for people who stammer to share their experiences in their own words. It’s open to anyone — whether you’ve worked on your speech, use a technique, openly stammer or try to hide it.  This page is purely for raising awareness and understanding.

For people who don't stammer but know and care about somebody who does.  Finding ways to help and support and get a better understanding of what its like to have a stammer.

Its also for people who stammer to feel less alone and know that other people do go through the same experiences that you are.

The page isn't for unauthorised course or technique promotion, but to help create positive changes in stammering awareness by showing the challenges, the triumphs, and the real-life experiences of people who stammer. Your responses can help others understand what stammering really looks like and why awareness matters.

Responses are completely anonymous, you can add your first name if you wish for it to be added to your comments, or you can choose to stay completely anonymous.

Give me time - to stammer, to use my technique, just let me speak at my own pace.
Don't laugh, don't copy or mimic, just be kind.
Hold eye contact. To show you are listening.
Please don't give well meaning advice.
